I used Yaz to prevent pregnancy. It was one of many pill forms of contraception that I used and I felt it worked adequately. I did not have any serious side effects but I did experience a lack of sex drive with Yaz and other pills.

I started using Yaz to prevent pregnancy. It worked great and also drastically lessened my period symptoms each month. It did take a couple months for my hormones to adjust to it.

I began using yaz due to my awful cramps when menstruating. Eventually my doctor told me about the medication to relieve the pain during my period. The pain has decreased dramatically. When i am consistent with taking the pill daily I barely have any cramps now.
There have been no side effects as i can tell and i would recommend yaz to anyone that suffers from awful menstrual cramps.

I did well on Zovia for years but my doctor recommended this because it had a lower dose of estrogen. I love this pill -- my period is regular and light; I have experienced no side effects from the pill and a lessening of PMS symptoms. It's more expensive than my previous pill, but worth the extra money.

This medication made me sick to my stomach for the first month and gave me mood swings. I also noticed a general leveling out of libido. But now that I have been on Yaz for a year the symptoms have leveled out and I feel normal. My periods are light and cramps less severe. Overall it has been a positive experience.

I really like Yaz! This is actually my first time that I've tried birth control pills, and it's a totally positive experience. At first when I was going the process of picking from all the different brands, Yaz caught my attention because they are suppose to help prevent acne.
It's been working great for me so far. After I've started on Yaz I've noticed some changes in me. Besides my acne cleared up, I stopped having major cramping when I have my period! This is one of the two reasons why I love YAZ. I used to have major cramping when my period came, sometimes it got so bad I needed to stay in bed, but ever since I started taking YAZ, my cramping either went down to a minimal or not have any! I recommended it to all my friends who were interested in start taking birth control pills.

Yaz is fantastic! I started it not too long ago, and it's done almost everything it's promised to do: No bloating, shorter/lighter period, stable mood, less cramping, and most importantly, no pregnancy!

Another fantastic result was that my skin and my hair became less oily, and that was greatly appreciated! I became very used to taking them, so remembering wasn't too much of a hassle.

I have recommended this to my girlfriends, and they've had great success with it as well.

I absolutely love Yaz. It has been completely reliable thus far! I haven't gotten pregant. My periods are also much shorter and lighter than they were without the pill.

I didn't get any negative side effects from Yaz. The only side effects were positive. My face has cleared up and my skin looks so much better. My periods are much shorter than they are naturally, which is a definite plus. I don't get PMS at all. Although, a small caveat- the first three months are fairly difficult. Your body will be adjusting to the new hormones. I had breakthrough the entire first month and I was very moody for the next two months. But as soon as those three months passed I was just fine!

I would recommend Yaz to anyone! (In fact, I have- and all my friends have been just as happy.)

Yaz is a very good form of birth control. I started it 2 years ago when my doctors suspected I had PCOS - poly-cystic ovarian syndrome. I was wary about beginning birth control, as I had heard about the unpleasant side effects. I was very pleasantly surprised that I noticed very few negative side effects. I had short, very light periods to begin with, so on Yaz my period really only lasts a day or so. I used to get awful migraines in the few days before my period, and now I don't get any. One thing I have noticed, is cramping. I had never experienced cramps before in my life, until I started using Yaz. Other than that, I really would recommend anyone to try it out. I never had a huge issue with acne, I was just a typical teenager that would get breakouts once in a while. Now that I'm on Yaz, I nearly never get pimples. I find that if I have to double up on pills because of a missed dose, my moods tend to get wacky, but when I take is as directed I notice no difference in mood. The only other complaint I have is the cost. There is no generic out yet, and my copay is $40. That's pretty steep!

I have been using Yaz for the last year without an incident. It was recommended to me by a close friend who had started taking birth control before me. Before I started taking Yaz I had horrible cramping but now cramps are virtually non-existent and the flow of my period is much lighter and easier to cope with. I had no negative side effects at all taking Yaz. I don't think I will ever change my prescription as long as I'm still taking birth control. Like my friend did to me I would recommend Yaz to all ladies having issues with their birth controls or for women who are just starting.

Initially I cried a lot more than normal, got angry at my roommates, and had very long, heavy flow. It went on like this for almost three months, and then drastically changed. Then my PMS totally disappeared, as well as having very short, regular cycles. Way less bloating and acne also.

I started on Yaz after struggling with birth control for many years. I had suffered migraines, weight gain, and nausea. I had tried several traditional birth control pills as well as a birth control shot.

My doctor recommended I switch to Yaz. The change I felt was amazing. Within days of the change, my stomach problems subsided and my migraines stopped. I didn't feel bloated or holding weight after using it for a couple of months. My skin has also improved in texture and I get fewer breakouts.

I have not experienced any side effects from Yaz. I still get occassional migraines, but generally they only occur in the days immediately before my period. My menstrual cycles are shorter and lighter, and I rarely have cramps.

I have been using this medication for about three years now, and I am extremely happy with the results. I plan to continue using is for as long as I need birth control.

I love this birth control! I've been on others, but this one has been has had the most obvious positive side-effects. It's just as easy to take as any other daily birth control, one pill a day. Sometimes I forget, but you can just take two pills the next day. There are only 4 placebo pills, which are supposed to make your periods shorter, but I didn't notice much of a difference in the length. I did notice that my periods were significantly lighter.
However, I did notice a huge different with my skin. I used to break out on my chest during warm-weather months, and I haven't since the month after I started Yaz!
As for the purpose of this pill, it has worked in the sense that I have not gotten pregnant. No complaints here! I would recommend this pill to my girlfriends.

I took Yaz before getting married and continued to take it for about a year and a half. The results? What can I say? I didn't get pregnant!

Positives:
- Easy to take. Just one pill per day.
- Lighter periods. Only lasted a couple days and flow was light.
- Less acne. I think my acne was lessened. But that could be all in my head.

Negatives:
- Adjustment period. I had a month or two of crankiness as my body adjusted to the new hormones.
- Not super-easy. I often forgot to take it and had to double up the following day.
- Cost. Even with my insurance, it was $45 a month.

One last note. I stopped taking it and got pregnant 2 months later. So it didn't mess with my long term ability to get pregnant! I'd recommend Yaz to my friends.
