I was diagnosed with exercise induced asthma when I started running for exercise. I always had difficulty breathing, but never thought it was asthma. I started running with a doctor who was able to diagnose me and sent me for treatment. I now use my inhaler before running and it helps me breathe. In fact, I have ran 5 half marathons and a full marathon.

I used albuterol to control my asthma. I have had asthma my entire life. It is induced by exercise and allergies. I have recently switched to ProAir. I have noticed that it does not take affect as quickly as other inhalers I have had. I have had no side effects.

I like the ProAir HFA brand of albuterol- it is cheaper than other albuterol brands available now that they old formulation has been taken off the market. I haven't noticed any changes in effectiveness compared to the old albuterol. I use it as a rescue inhaler and before exercise.

I was diagnosed with asthma at 26 and prescribed the ProAir AFA inhaler. I use it before aerobic activity, and when I have a sudden attack. I was afraid that use would become habitual, but rather my use has dropped off because now I know what it is like to consistently breathe well, I can identify when I need medication. I have experienced no side effects other than the weird taste of the spray which seems to linger in my mouth.
