After having my baby my doctor prescribed me Loestrin. At first everything was okay until the ninth day when my body started reacting to it.I started having really heavy bleeding.I heard that was normal so I waited it out.Unfortunately in my case I took it up until the third pack.And I was still bleeding.The DR told me the hormones were not strong enough. So she switched me to something stronger. Unfortunately I also experinced yeast infections right around the time my period was due.
On the positive note, my skin was so clear. It really cleared up my skin from major break outs throughout my pregnancy. I really think everyone should stay on the medication at least three months to see if the symptoms get better.
