I was prescribed this medication along with 2 other antidepressants. At that time I was also on 3 other medications that had drowziness as a side effect and felt the klonopin was too much.Little by little i was taken off the other meds.My depression & anxiety was improved but not great. I added half of a 0.5 dose to my daily medication and this has truly lifted me to a newer, higher level of functioning. I am very greatful!!

I've been prescribed Klonopin for about a year now. I really like the effect it has on my mood and attitude during my day to day. Since being prescribed this medication, I am more focused and willing to get up and get things done. It has a very positive effect on me. The side effects I've experienced are few, only occasional drowsiness. Overall, Klonopin greatly reduces my anxiety and will generally calm me down if I'm upset for any reason.

My Dr. prescribed Klonopin to me about a year ago for panic disorder. I am ordered to take one "as needed". I first started out breaking one in half when I felt the symptoms of a panic attack coming on, and it resolved the symptoms of panic in about 15 minutes. After about 6 months of taking half a pill, I now have to take a whole pill to feel the same effects. So there is the chance of dependency. Although they made me a bit drowsy at first, it was nothing that could not be controlled if taken in as small of doses as possible. I feel as though this medication has helped me tremendously in coping with panic disorder.

I began using Klonopin for anxiety. My doctor first prescribed a low dose Xanax to me, but when that did not work I was switched to Klonopin. The first time I took it I felt like drowsy and was not alert. I later learned that I could not take it if I was already drowsy, because it would induce sleep. Sometimes if i take to make I get a dizzy feeling. It does not affect my work life and usually passes quite quickly.
I find Klonopin to be helpful, despite the mild side effects. They can be remedied quite easily. Klonopin, when taken in the right dose, greatly helps reduce my anxiety
