My partner developed an infection after knee surgery. She was unable to take other antibiotics, so her doctor prescribed keflex. She had no adverse affects, and the infection was resolved within the two weeks course of treatment.

This antibiotic was prescribed to my daughter for an infection in her toe. Children like the taste, so that is definatly a plus. I also like that you only have to take it for seven days. She had a problem with her toe for two weeks before taking this medicine. It did not get better until her doctor prescribed this medication. She did not experience any side effects.

The doctor prescribed me this when I had Bronchitis. I was very ill and could hardly do anything. The pills were easy to swallow with a glass of water. After about two days I began feeling much better. I did not have any bad side effects from this drug. Though my mom is very allergic to this drug.

I was prescribed this drug to treat an infectious disease that had overwhelmed and swollen a lymph node in my thigh. While the antibiotic (in combination with other antibiotics) did eventually beat the infection, the experience of taking the drug was not too enjoyable. I found that it made my skin feel hot and I felt a bit nauseous and dizzy. Taking the pills on an empty stomach caused them to be vomited back up immediately. Also, the combination of antibiotics that I took appeared to also kill off all the beneficial bacteria in my body.

I was first prescribed Cephalexin (Keflex) for a kidney/bladder infection. I had suffered nearly 7 months before this medication was prescribed (after other antibiotics offered no relief), and I experienced immediate relief. The effects were good and without any side-effects. My daughter was prescribed Cephalexin for an infection she acquired during a travel trip, and she also experienced immediate and positive relief. I have also taken Keflex after oral surgery for soft tissue infection. This is the only antibiotic that I have experienced this positive relief other than with basic penicillin of the past.

I used this medication to prevent infection/dry socket after wisdom tooth extraction. No side effects.Experienced loss of appetite, but not sure if that was because of this drug or the antibiotics administered after tooth extraction.

Other than that, I experienced no other side effects. My gums did not get infected, so the drug was effective.
