The treatment benefit was that my fever went down. My tonsillitis was also cured. After seven days or even less I was already feeling better. One benefit is that the cure can be taken orally with no downtime. It did not cause any side effects but sped up my recovery.
Side effects:I did not experience any adverse effects when I took this drug. The only effect that I experienced was that it made my fever go down and cured my tonsillitis. However, I know of people who do not react well with Amoxicillin and are allergic to it. I do not know what sort of adverse effects they might have experienced.

I have had chronic bronchitis every year since I was about five years old. I am now twenty-six. The only anti-biotic I have ever taken for it has been amixicillin. I actually have never even tried any other one before. This drug has just worked wonders on my bronchitis. It gives me comfort to know that everytime I get sick like this I am not going to suffer any longer than I need to. I owe all of this to amoxicillin. It has pretty much been like a savior to me. I recently took this medication because I had an infected and inflamed gallbladder (acute cholestycitis) that was later removed via surgery. If I had not taken this med, I would have been much sicker and the gallbladder might have burst, leaving me much worse off. Amoxicillin helped me to survive until I was able to withstand surgery. I had no side effects except perhaps mild diarrhea. It was worth it.

I was given a prescription for Amoxil after developing hand and foot psoriasis.
This was a stage treatment just in case the disease was being caused by an infection. The only side effects I experienced with Amoxil was some diarrhea and slight stomach upset if I failed to take it with food.
I also did not get a yeast infection or have bowel problems wherein the good bacteria in the bowel need rejuvenating. Amoxil worked well for me with a minimum of side effects. I will use this prescription again if needed.
